Darren Waller has been a cornerstone of the Raiders' offense in recent years, but his time in Las Vegas has come to an end. On Monday, Waller returned to his Las Vegas home after his honeymoon. By Tuesday night, he was unexpectedly in New Jersey after the trade was completed.

The Giants sent a 2023 third-round pick (100th overall) to the Raiders in exchange for Waller. The trade was a fairly simple one, as the Raiders acquired a late third-round pick for a player who was no longer in their long-term plans.

The Giants are making a splash trade to acquire a big-time weapon for Daniel Jones. Big Blue is finalizing a deal to get tight end Darren Waller, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
