Egypt Cruises Past Cape Verde in CAF Qualifiers

Pharaohs Secure Convincing Victory in Group E Opener

Cairo, Egypt - The Egyptian national soccer team got off to a winning start in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (CAF) qualifying campaign with a convincing 2-0 victory over Cape Verde at the Cairo International Stadium.

The win puts Egypt in a strong position in Group E, which also includes Guinea and Malawi. The Pharaohs will now face Malawi in their next qualifying match on June 9th, while Cape Verde will host Guinea.
